This is your garden, your home, your dreams, your investment – so we work consultatively with you to create the right garden design solution for you. Our services are structured flexibly so you can choose a solution that matches your budget. The full details of our range of solutions are detailed below, but if you have any questions, please do get in touch.
You need to know that the company you choose to help you transform your garden and its relationship with your house is in tune with your ideas and needs, so we offer a free initial consultation to understand your existing space, what you are trying to achieve, your ideas and your budget. From this we will provide notes identifying challenges and opportunities, as well as budget guidance for different levels of solutions.
This is the perfect solution if you have a skinny budget. We carry out a survey of your site, then create a sketch plan with 3D concept drawings showing key features in our proposed design and cost guidance for completing it. This gives you a scheme that optimises your space and a budget. You can then either undertake the work yourself or commission someone else to do it. (This solution does not include detailed construction design, planting design or tendering for the build of the project.)
This is our full-service solution for designing your ideal outdoor living space. We dig deep to work out how to connect your house and garden; our survey and site analysis extends to measuring the exterior of your house, identifying the sightlines from your windows to make sure the key views of our proposed designs match up with these. We consider issues such as borders with neighbours, where we need to create privacy and where we can extend a view. We explore diverse concepts and how they will work at different times of the day and year. We think about flow in the garden and how various aspects will be revealed as you move within it. We share our initial ideas with you and then develop your chosen scheme through to detailed construction and planting design for both your garden and any architectural elements.
We can advise on whether our architectural designs will require planning permission or whether they qualify for permitted development. If planning permission is required, we can undertake this on your behalf. We also liaise with building inspectors to make sure all our construction meets necessary regulations and ensure you have the correct certification.
With our team of professionals, we execute our designs to the highest standards, with expert project management to keep your build on track and minimise disruption for you and your neighbours. We select materials that are durable and plants that are naturally suited to the prevailing conditions, positioning them optimally to give each one the chance to flourish. We also liaise with building inspectors as required so you have peace of mind that our constructions are sound and meet relevant regulations.
Our affordable solution to achieving the garden of your dreams. Rather than undertaking everything in one go, we can stagger the work to match your budget. Ideally, we design the whole concept at the beginning, so we know that all the features will work together. As well as making the costs more manageable, phasing the build also enables you to continue to use parts of your garden while we are working in it. And as you live with each new stage of creation and see what is possible, it’s an opportunity to develop ideas further and hone your garden space.
If you’ve got green thumbs or are keen to get into gardening, you may want the pleasure of putting in the finishing touches yourself. We are happy simply to provide planting advice or create a designed scheme you can implement yourself over time. We choose plants that are suitable for the prevailing conditions, that will provide interest across the seasons and that will enhance the design features of your garden. We can even accommodate your preferred colour schemes.
Having invested in your garden, it is important to nurture it. Plants take anywhere from three to 20 years to mature; they are a dynamic thing competing for light, water and nutrients. If a garden is not managed, it will not achieve its true potential and majesty. We engage experienced gardeners with the right horticultural experience to take your garden from a transformation to a mature delight that will bring you pleasure for years to come.
