Our 3D drawings bring our designs to life. Clients often want to add or change elements of the design once they can visualise the space and fully imagine how it will transform how they live there. We always listen to our clients and work to their budget. We want to create a space they will love for years to come. We use innovative design and clever use of materials to make the most of the outdoor living space.
This is a project we completed in 2019. Our brief was to create a garden that wrapped round the property, linking the clients’ 1900s home with the pretty garage-to-office conversion in its grounds. It had to work aesthetically from every possible angle, whether looking out at it from indoors or al fresco relaxing within its various spaces. We inherited a number of mature plants from the existing plot when we started working on the garden which we are always keen to include those in any designs. For example, we moved and replanted some beautiful azaleas. In addition to ‘recycling’ we used plenty of new plants too and added screenings both natural and man-made to create a variety of ‘rooms’ within the garden as a whole.
The new set of steps that we added off the terrace to lead from kitchen to office has now been enhanced by the addition of a lavender walk that smells wonderful in summer, set beneath pergola arches.
The hot tub is located within a gazebo that’s screened with bamboo and a magnolia soulangeana. We used larch wood to create the back of the gazebo and the roof is now starting to silver beautifully. Equally successful is the laser-cut, contemporary designed gazebo panels, which continue to provide a talking point for our clients and their guests.
